About Us

The Foundation for Community Arts is a private, nonprofit association of visual art enthusiasts, who have a passion for the public display of fine artworks and are committed to community revitalization though civic leadership development around the visual arts.

We are committed to further establishing Atlanta as a world wide center for the best in the visual arts, by displaying outstanding artworks in an honorable and uplifting manner, and encouraging improvement and maturity of our artists and artisans.

Our exhibits consist of exceptionally fine artworks from the traditional realms of fine art (painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media) as well as from the applied arts (architecture, interior design, landscape design, product design, graphic arts, and others). We promote our member artists and sell their artworks through juried and themed exhibitions.

We insist on the very best quality and craftsmanship. No works will be allowed in our displays which demean other people, groups, or individuals.

We aim to assist our artists in their respective name recognition before the general public, art patrons, and collectors by providing beautiful settings for the display of their artworks with fine lighting.

Our volunteer leadership provides services to our artists for the artist's edification. We seek to be catalysts for maturing talents and skills, equipping artists to be better citizens in their communities, better in business practices, adept in customer relations, and spiritually whole. This will be where our association stands out from other similar organizations. But above all, we work hard to help the artworks sell, which is often the artist's principle means of income.
